While Jeremy Epstein's presentation inspired me to be more disciplined about posting to this blog, stuff happens.

Early Sunday morning, someone close to me passed away.

Sunday was spent making funeral arrangements and selecting a casket. Monday was the funeral and we are still in mourning.

The loss is difficult.

My goal has been to make this blog a discussion about markets and opportunities, not a report of my life (I'd rather not bore you).

Things like this happen. Life intervenes.

Given all that is happening, I wish I could be more prompt in my commentary and observations, and I will become more so.

Well, at least you have confirmation that I'm human.
